The team at Weekes Accounting and Advisory includes five university degree qualified accountants, three of whom are also Chartered Accountants. We also have an accounting assistant, an experienced bookkeeper and a very helpful receptionist. Our Office is located at 211 George Street adjacent to the Bathurst CBD.
David is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years’ experience in tax, business and auditing. David holds several graduate and post graduate qualifications in business, tax and financial advice. David is a registered tax agent and registered company auditor. David cut his accounting teeth at a leading edge chartered accounting firm in the Sydney CBD before moving to Bathurst some 30 years ago. David has been actively involved in the Bathurst Community over the years and has held a number of Not-for-Profit and Sporting Association Board positions during that time.David leads the team by example and is absolutely passionate about acting in your best interests.
Rebecca is a Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years’ experience and specialises in tax advisory services for private business owners. She’s also an expert in SMSF’s. Rebecca was born and educated in Bathurst and has completed the Chartered Accountant program. Rebecca is particularly team-focused, and works meticulously to identify solutions for clients in various industries. Rebecca is also a Registered Tax Agent, ASIC SMSF Auditor and has completed her Diploma in Financial Planning.
Victoria has been employed with Weekes Accounting and Advisory for over 12 years and specialises in providing advisory services for small business owners and operators. Victoria has a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree from Charles Stuart University – Bathurst. A Graduate Diploma of Applied Tax Law. She is a member of, and holds a Certificate of Public Practice with the Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand [CAANZ] Victoria is a registered Tax Agent.
Jeslyn commenced her professional accounting career in 2006 after graduating from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Business Accounting Degree. Jeslyn is a CPA with more than 10 years accounting experience specialising in small business tax and advisory services. Whilst working with Weekes Accounting and Advisory, she has also been involved in many not-for-profit entity audits. She is passionate about assisting her clients with daily processing and record keeping. Jeslyn places high importance on building and maintaining strong relationships within her team and with clients.
Mary has been with Weekes Accounting and Advisory for more than 5 years after completing her Accounting/Finance joint degree at Charles Sturt University with Distinction. Mary’s background is in banking where she worked for 15 years before working as a self-employed bookkeeper & BAS Agent gaining valuable experience with MYOB & other accounting programs. Mary has completed her Chartered Accountant's Program. Mary is involved in various community charities in Bathurst.
Suzanne joined the team at Weekes Accounting & Advisory in 2012. With extensive experience in business administration, Suzanne liaises with clients, tax office and other professional organisations and assists Accountants, including completing to draft BAS, IAS, tax returns and financial statements. Suzanne is our go-to person for all in-house computer and technology issues. Suzanne is continually implementing & improving many office systems and procedures to ensure our office runs as efficiently as possible.
Kathy is a Chartered Accountant with more than 38 years of experience. Kathy has a Bachelor of Financial Administration from University of New England, a Graduate Diploma in Taxation Law from Charles Sturt University, has been a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand since 1988. Kathy also has a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning. Kathy specialises in tax advice and tax law interpretation for individuals, partnerships, companies, self-managed superannuation funds and small business income tax as personal financial planning.
Ashleigh is currently undertaking a Certificate III in Business administration here at Weekes Accounting & Advisory. Since starting in December Ashleigh has been building strong professional relationships within our team and with our clients. Ashleigh ensures the office runs efficiently in day-to-day operations by assisting with all our administration duties including scheduling appointments, maintaining data & files and preparing all our mail.
